When Truth Resists
We are not confused.
We see the cruelty for what it is—
the deportations without return,
the rights stripped quietly through legal smoke,
the judges mocked for doing their jobs,
the dignity erased with the stroke of a pen.
So today we pray not for comfort, but for clarity.
Let our outrage stay sharp, not bitter.
Let our hearts stay open, not broken.
Let us be people who don’t flinch when power flexes—
who move toward the fire with our eyes wide and our backs straight.
And when the noise grows loud and the lies grow thick,
may we remember:
truth doesn’t whisper—it resists.
Amen.
