Prayer for the Excluded and the Endangered

Spirit of Justice, gather us in.

We stand in the shadow of rulings and policies that erase, exclude, and endanger.

Today we lift up the transgender soldier denied their right to serve, the public worker facing erasure by executive decree, the overdose victim left without help, the peacemaker silenced by shuttered diplomacy.

Let us not grow numb to this unraveling.

Let us feel every cut.

May we move with fierce compassion.

May we refuse the silence they count on.

May we carry each other through the wreckage—and rise, again and again, in defiance and in hope.
